Is That a Candy Cane???

So my dearest Santa has come and gone yet again....and Christmas was definitely a memorable one at that! Now that I'm back from Michigan (complete with 8-12 inches of snow!) I can now give you the dish....I got the usual; socks, underwear, clothes etc...a new iPod classic(she is the Black Pearl) which came in handy on my drive up to MI, new sunglasses finally, lots of DVDS ("hairspray", the obligatory family musical, Greys season 3, How I Met Your Mother seasons 1 and 2 and some more) lets see what else?? A Wii complete with Guitar Hero III and super mario galaxy (did I mention the fact that I beat Mark at boxing and guitar hero....i have completely unleashed my inner rock star!! And its pretty darn amazing might I add!) oh a new scarf and loads of giftcards to Target and iTunes YAY for me! oh yeah and spartan gear (they are determined to turn me into a fan!!! and I'm ok with that! :))

Onto my trip to MI...Mark and I get to Michigan and we basically cross the border into the mitten state (thats a whole other story...bahahah) and its snowing. Nothing better than snow for the southern girl! We finally get to his moms house and unload our crap....ok more like my crap but hey i've got a wedding to plan give me a break (I had 10 hours of reading, magazine looking, and dress shopping to do) Anyways, we get there and take it easy! nothing but wonderful easy days of relaxation. I've basically had my phone turned off since i got out of school and its been the nicest thing ever! No texts or calls, man its been crazy!

Anyways...the highlights of the trip....faking out Wal-Mart (we are super sleuths) and my screaming in Game Stop with Mark and Brandon when we finally found Guitar Hero III. Ok i literally screamed and everyone in the store looked at me! Merry Christmas to ME! This is only after searching years it seemed like for GH III.

And New Years was A-MAZING!! LEXI JANE listen up! So we didnt go out to a fancy restaurant, i didnt even have to get dressed up! We spent new years with Mark's fam. We walked from his mothers house to his dads house in the snow (a lot of football watching and motorcycle death defying was had by all)...so basically about 10 minutes til midnight we began our journey back to the 120. On the corner of Hill and Grant it struck midnight in the cute little town of Portland. Lexi, there is nothing better than celebrating New Years in the snow when the clock strikes 12 and the snow is falling all around you and you are all bundled up...gloves and hat intow! I know gag me to all you NONsaps, but it was truly romantic. Who would have ever thought those words would come out of my mouth...i know. BUT still it was wonderful. Kissing in the rain is totally overrated....snow is WAY better!

Anyways I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season, And heres to a wonderful 2008! its definitely a big one for me!
